We were very well received. Very friendly and attentive owner. The communal areas (kitchen, lounge) are well kept and well equipped. The private double room is very nice and cosy. It was great to have a heating system as the air was quite damp. We stayed there in winter and we were mostly the only guests. Don't hesitate to come and visit Alexandra :)

Jardim das Camelias is perfectly located in Madalena (many restaurants close by, walking distance) and we were lucky to get the room with mountain view so we woke up each morning seeing Pico. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything was very clean and the house was renovated in a very nice way. Checking in and out and communication with the owners were very smooth, they were also extremely helpful and friendly. Totally recommend Jardim das Camelias, 10/10!

Restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice view over the ocean :) The house is very clean and equipped with the basics one might need. The communication was very good, at all times there was a phone number available. And the bonus: books! Books everywhere!! Loved this place so much!

Excellent breakfast, many options. Also loved the location and that there was a pool which my grandson used almost everyday. The apartment was clean and towels were changed everyday. Any issues were quickly dealt with.
