Hostel Cornel offers accommodation in a historically restored building in the heart of Timişoara, just 150 meters from Unirea Square. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hostel. This was actually our first time staying at a hostel, and to be honest, it went far above my expectations. First of all, the staff was just awesome, friendly and really helpful, just a joy to be around. Check-in and out were easy. Location was perfect, close to the city square, a few minutes walk to there. As for the accommodation, we stayed in a room with it's own bathroom, it was small but comfy, clean and warm as well. The bed was pretty comfy, bathroom functional. The hostel also has a pub on the first floor which was lots of fun, had a little concert there as well and the entrance to the event was free to the guests of the Hostel. There is a 10% discount on drinks as well. The aesthetics of the hostel are pretty nice as well, there are a lot really well done murals on walls which adds to the alt look of the place.
