The hostel is surrounded by greenery, just a 4-minute drive from the River Kalix and 40 minutes’ journey from IKEA Haparanda. It s very clean and tidy. The host was super nice. very reactive and helpful. The location is good for joining polar explorer ice breaker. Absolute good value for money.

They're actually renovating the town‘s old school to turn it into a hostel. The place also still has the charm of an old school, which we found quite entertaining. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view. We highly recommend Kuttainen Lodge for a unique and welcoming place to stay. We'd love to visit again!
