Mermerli Beach fica a menos de 1 km de distância. it was great, met lots of people, had wonderful conversations. the kitchen was pristine clean and had everything to cook or even bake. The dorm door on the first floor is part glass, which did pass on the light to the room, but I am not convinced it's all that bad. It is extra thin though, so noise can easily travel to the room form the main reception area.

Ephesus Hostel tem lounge compartilhado, terraço, restaurante e bar em Selçuk. They seamlessly arranged an airport pickup for me (price is 80 euros) . Cemal was such good company otw to the hotel. Gave me a brief background on Selcuk and pointing out all the orchards with the fruit trees. The hostel itself is very neat and clean. The building where you check in is a short walk from the actual hostel though. I lucked out that I was the only guest at the time in the ladies dorms so I had the room and the toilet all to myself. Bed was comfy and the pillow was so soft and divine. There are shoe cabinets under the bed. The rooms also have AC. The check in area has a very friendly cat and dog, which I think, is important to point out because they both wanted pets... Cemal also gave me a ride to Kusadasi for my boat tour for the taxi price 35 euros. Wifi is fast and there's a rooftop balcony you could chill on for dinner or breakfast. Kitchen is clean and functional with a water heater I was able to use to make tea and coffee. I was planning on checking out early morning before I went for a tour around Ephesus but no one was at the reception at 8am. So I just left my stuff in the hostel lobby, went for my tour and came back to pay for my stay. Very chill place. Very central. The Ephesus museum is just below. Train station is maybe an 11 or 12mins walk away . Ayasuluk hill/St. John's Basilica also a very short walk away. Would recommend for solo travelers who want a peaceful hostel.

Com Wi-Fi grátis em toda a propriedade, terraço ao ar livre com piscina, jardim e bar, Marigold Otel fica em Cesme. Accomodation: There is an entrance little room with a small couch, tv and the fridge. The bathroom is functional and separate bedroom has a comfortable bed, cute make up table and a wardrobe that we didn't use (a bit squeaky). Several windows for those who like the light and good curtains to keep the sun out in the mornings. The balcony is pretty big, surrounded by trees, with a table and chairs. It was nice to sit there in the evenings, as the days were too hot. Not the newest furniture, and there could be some improvements in the future, but still very cosy and comfortable place to stay. Garden: Calm and relaxed mornings with breakfast and a coffee in the garden by the pool. Shade and a breeze, flowers and trees, cats and playful kittens. Even a hedgehog! Some people wrote that the pool is small, but it is actually a good size and not all the guests are there all the time. After the beach, we would come there in the afternoon for a swim and rest. Location: The hotel is very close to the city center, shops, cafes and restaurants and in a few minutes you are practically there. Great walks, beautiful and kind people. We visited several beautiful beaches around, and they were approximately 10-20 minutes by car from the hotel. And yes, you can park your car around the hotel and almost everywhere in the area for free. Just find a suitable spot. Hotel hosts/employees: Thank you for being an animal friendly place and accepting our cat. She loved Turkey, but not the fellow cats unfortunately (too scared and too spoiled). Thank you all for your kindness and hospitality. We felt very welcomed, safe and like at home. The gentleman at the reception was very kind and simpatic. He gave us all the necessary information (about best beaches, wind conditions, parking…), answered all our questions patiently and is just a beautiful example of what a real host/concierge should be - natural, kind and normal. It is a lot in today's world.
