Very close to the station, inside the place feels lika a museum. You keep your shoes outside but get slippers which creates a home vibe. The kitchen is well equipped, there are free bikes outside. I was offered a free toothbrush since I had lost my cosmetics bag.

Has 7/11, family mart, Dingo (Hualien's boba chain), a breakfast eatery, bicycle rental shop and even a live music bar (1709) very close by! Host: super kind and hospitable Captain who will answer all your questions to the best of his abilities and give you plenty of recommendations! He made sure that we were safe during the earthquake and even brought us (me and some other guests staying at the time) out cycling the next day when most of the shops were closed. Facilities: toilet is EXTREMELY clean, water pressure is somehow even better than my own home toilet in Singapore... bed is so comfy that I had trouble waking up each morning...
