We arrived 2,5 hours later than expected around midnight. Although the host left the hostel at 9pm already, he opened the door for us and told us what we needed to know. Thanks for this exceptional flexibility. The location is very good, in the center of Hualien close to the train station. The beds were very comfortable, the room was well cleaned, the common area was a nice place to chill. the next morning we left early to Taroko National Park. We were able to check out early without any problems. We had a great stay and the best sleep in a long time!

Set in Yuli and with Ruisui Railway Station reachable within 24 km, 途中玉里青年旅舍On My Way Yuli Hostel offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This place was a little above my usual budget, but it was the most affordable option in Yuli and I saved a lot by not needing to rent a bicycle for two days. The quality of the place is very high and the host was very helpful.

Hostel G.O.A.T asub Hualieni linnas, 4 km kaugusel Pine Gardenist. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. I have stayed here a few times over the years and it is always amazing. The beds are very comfortable and private. The showers are hot and have good pressure. The owner is very kind and helpful and really makes sure the guests are taken care of. Just a 10 minute walk from the train station and surrounded by plenty of places to eat. This will always be my go-to hostel when I’m in Hualien.

He really made my trip much more pleasant. Location was excellent for visiting parks. So close to the train and bus stations.

Super clean, cool environment, super friendly staff did everything to communicate even with few English. This hostel is pure gold

The place is perfect next to downtown, and the owner is so kindly. And the hotel is bicycle friendly.

Travel Charger Hostel asub Hualieni linnas, 800 meetri kaugusel Hualieni raudteejaama tagaväljapääsust. Kogu majutusasutuses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Everything is so well-designed and thought-out, and the owners clearly haven’t skimped on anything. Everything is super high quality and when you need something, you’ll happen to find it immediately. Probably the most beautiful interior design in the 50-odd hostels I’ve stayed at before, too. Cool staff and friends of staff and owner, too.

Situated in Hualien City and within 2.8 km of Beibin Park Beach, World Inn 窩二樓小客棧民宿 has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Owners were wonderful, great shower, bed was super comfy! Very close to bus/train station.

Captain Not At Home asub Hualieni linnas, Beibin Parki rannast 2,6 km ja Nanbin Parki rannast 2,9 km kaugusel. Tubades on konditsioneer ja ühine vannituba. Everything. This was truly a "minshuku". The owner owns and lives there. It is not another commercial space rented out to build hostel. In terms of facilities, the room and bathroom were clean. The stairs were not an issue for me. The owner is very nice and welcoming. Overall, my favorite stay in Taiwan.
