Only a 3-minute walk from the bustling Kenting Main Street, Kenting My Home offers private guest rooms and dormitory rooms in Kenting. The silent Dawan Beach can be reached in 3 minutes on foot. Kind and friendly staff first. All members are pretty helpful and attitude was impressive. They often hold an event like a beer party in the common area so better to have a look. The hostel is pretty close to the main road which has a night market so that enhances convenience a lot. Common areas and the room were all clean enough. Restroom was tiny but well equipped as well. The capsule type “room” gives you kinda privacy and even contains a bit of sound proofing system.

Located in Hengchun and with Kenting Night Market reachable within 10 km, 仨食居室 provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. This is my favourite place I've stayed so far in Taiwan, the design of the place is really cool. The owner has really paid a lot of attention to make it a comfortable stay. And if you ask nicely, she will give you some great food recommendations.

MUSEaUM 沐洋人 has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Hengchun. The property is set 10 km from Kenting Night Market, 11 km from Maobitou Park and 13 km from Chuanfan Rock. One of the best hostels in Taiwan. All the staff are kind, friendly, and laid-back. The host J shared a bunch of local recommendations with me, and I enjoyed our morning chats at the coffee shop :) They also run a bar in the same building, and even as a solo traveller, I felt comfortable spending time there because the bartenders were warm and welcoming. And of course their original cocktails were great too! My fav was 貴妃挽茶 (Imperial Concubine Yang).

Set within 8.1 km of Kenting Night Market and 10 km of Maobitou Park, 虎睏 The Good Sleep offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Pi-tzu-t'ou. The hosts were super flexible in my dates because I kept changing them. They were friendly and helpful but they are not around that much which makes sense because they have a baby. The hostel is super comfortable!!! If you have a bike it’s easier to move around. It is not in front of the sea so you have to ride the bike for 15 min to get to the closest beach. It was clean. It has a kitchen and a common area very comfy. They will help with whatever you ask.

Set in Hengchun and within 10 km of Kenting Night Market, WonderOcean Dive Hostel features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Very cosy space and quiet area. Very accessible and short walking distance from train station. There are also diving classes available to be done with the hostel at affordable prices. And in a smaller group which is great! Even for non-swimmers like me, they do diving experience too and Rene managed to convince me to do it! It was such a memorable experience!

Located in Kenting, 500 metres from Kenting Beach, Mang Yi Zhan Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. 10 minutes walk to main street. The room is cozy and clean. Car can easily park at front yard. No extra facility. No breakfast. A good budget accommodation, I would come back here again.

Set in Chaozhou and with Siaogang Station reachable within 24 km, 車頭民宿 火車站 免費停車場 offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a shared lounge. It was very close to the train station, located between multiple convenience stores and close to good food.

Located within 80 metres of Kenting Night Market in Kenting, KO Hostel Kenting 返璞歸真 墾丁背包客棧 provides a garden and a terrace. 1.9 km from Dajianshan, the hostel features a shared lounge and a bar. The environment is very cozy and comfortable. I like the furnished style in here.
