One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in in Taiwan or anywhere else. Rooms and facilities were very clean and comfortable, building had character and charm. Location was convenient as we had to attend an event at the university nearby, and the staff were extremely helpful. Double room was also very affordable for the quality.

Slippers are prepared so everyone help to take care of the cleanliness of the bedroom. The beds (double deck) are not too soft and very comfy for us who had a long journey. The bathrooms are sparkling clean. Hair dryer is available. Hot shower is something really great after a day of sightseeing in the city on foot. Breakfast is included. Though quite simple, taste good and very filling. The common area is very comfortable. We enjoyed our quiet and non-disturbed hours there. Hot beverage is available always. The location of the hostel is very strategic. Bus stops are in walking distance, found in all directions. Lots of eateries and shops around, old and new. Convenient shops such as 7-11, family mart and Watsons are just nearby. We even found the post office just next to the hostel. There is a night market nearby of which the stalls are run by various local artists (本地艺术家) displaying their own products. Good experience to explore and enjoyed ourselves. Washing machine and dryer are provided with the minimum charge. Very convenient for travellers.
