Nicest place we've stayed in Taiwan. It's so nicely decorated, comfy, the communal kitchen is out of this world, we loved it. Relaxing atmosphere, we decided to spend a few hours of the day reading in the library next to the kitchen.

Featuring a patio and a cosy non-smoking living space, Norden Ruder Hostel is located in Taitung City, 800 metres from Taitung Railway Art Village. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Great place to stay. The courtyard is really comfortable, green and quiet. It even has a baby grand piano to play. As advertised the room was small but well laid out and clean. Good wifi, easy check-in, nice staff, close to restaurants, shopping. Affordable. All in all a wonderful stay.

Located within 5.1 km of Taitung Night Market and 3.1 km of National Museum of Prehistory, Cong Sen Backpackers Hostel provides rooms in Taitung City. Very nice owner. He let me check in early. Very clean and comfortable. I departed early in the morning and he still made me breakfast-very nice! Even gave me fruit and an energy drink for my bike ride. Cheers!

Tasuta WiFi-ühendusega 40Inn Backpackers Warehouse asub Taitungi linnas, Taitungi raudtee kunstikülast 500 meetri ja Taitung Zhonghe templist 700 meetri kaugusel. The owner and staff person were both extremely friendly and helpful. They gave lots of activity and food recommendations and also helped me call local businesses to check their hours or book things for me. The owner even gave me a ride on his scooter to the e-bike rental place because the rental place said to hurry before a tour bus was scheduled to arrive. The vibe was very homey and the owner and staff would often hang out at night and just chat with me about what I did that day and stuff. They were really easy to get along with and it was a super welcoming vibe, unlike the very transactional default of any other hostel or place to stay at. I found myself looking forward to returning to the hostel at night so I could tell them about whatever funny thing happened that day, and I felt like I could ask them for help if I ever needed it during my time there. Also there's a very cute, friendly, and quite big orange cat who lives there (but he's out of sight most of the time).

The host is incredibly kind and helpful, and is able to recommend many activities that can be done in the area as well as other parts of Taiwan. Can’t recommend staying here enough!

I enjoyed my staying ! This place is home away from home. I highly recommend to my friends and my family. I will be back!

Hostel Navel Orange asub Taitungi linnas, 2,9 km kaugusel Seaside Parki rannast. The staff was really nice and got everything ready for my arrival. They arranged my taxi to leave the next day and also recommended me a lot of places. I wish I stayed longer.
