The poolside hostel beds are surprisingly comfortable, the vibe is relaxed yet lively, and the overall experience delivers way more than the price suggests. In a place like Nungwi where beauty is everywhere Hostel 197 adds something deeper: warmth, care, and authenticity. If you’re traveling to Zanzibar and looking for a place that blends comfort, community, and value effortlessly this is it. Some stays are temporary. This one feels memorable.
