Everything at the hostel was really good. From the privacy at the rooms, cleanliness, super host John and the bartender Emmanuel. The girls at the kitchen too. Would definitely go back there. Best place for solo travellers. The hostel exceeded my expectations, i regret why i never booked more days in the first place. I wish i took lots of photos, i enjoyed it all and forgot to take photos, but for videos, yeahhhh...❤️ Love from Kenya 🇰🇪

Compass Hostel in Nungwi provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. I loved everything about my stay! The staff was so friendly and kind, the hostel was super clean and the doors had codes to enter, so it was super safe. The room was so comfortable with spacious beds, AC, bed curtains and lockers. I will come back for sure! :)

Located in Jambiani, a few steps from Jambiani Beach, New Teddy's on the Beach provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. It’s the best hostel in Zanzibar, and I stayed in 4 different ones during my stay. The lounge area is unbelievable, I was truly enjoying it every single day. People working there are very friendly, accommodating, welcoming, and treat you like a friend, not just a guest. I met great people there and we spent whole time together going on different tours and exploring the area together. I wasn’t bothered by local people at all, felt very relaxed and at peace. Just 10/10 experience, nothing else

It’s a great property to stay at affordable and very close to all the places in downtown. Highly recommend to stay here. Simon and the staff extremely friendly and helpful with finding all the things that you need.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to give tips and make you feel at home. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Stone Town, and the social atmosphere makes it easy to meet other travelers. The breakfast was a nice unexpected bonus. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar!
