It was my first time staying in a hostel, and I don’t regret it. The people working at this hostel were kind, friendly, and helpful. The common areas were cleaned daily and everything was very clean. I also joined the Sunset Yoga program. Thank you, Amanda, for this amazing experience. The location was also great — there’s a bus stop for bus number 8 right across from the hostel. I used this bus to get wherever I needed to go. The beach was just a few steps away on foot. If I ever get the chance to come back, I already know where I’ll be staying.

The ROOM was clean and well-equipped, featuring a fridge and a safe that you can easily open and lock using your credit or debit card. We even had a VIEW of the Golden Gate Bridge right from our window—such a treat! The BED was incredibly comfortable—I had such a great night’s sleep! The BATHROOM was spacious, with a large shower, fresh towels, shower gel, and even tissues provided. SHOPS and restaurants are just a short walk away, and the cable car stop is only a 10-minute walk from the property, which made getting around the city super easy.

Stay Classy is well located in the centre of San Diego, and provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. I really dislike staying at hostels, but this place really has exceeded my expectations, it has privacy, the facilities are really nice and clean for a hostel. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I have enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

Ideally set in the Downtown San Diego, Gaslamp Hostel features air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The location, vibe, staff, and everything were on point. It was the best hotel I visited in the United States. Highly recommended
