The location was perfect for commuting to near metro station. The room had its own washroom, so didnt had to travel out of room, which proved super convenient for me to crash for a night. the beds were super comfortable.

In the evenings we gathered around the table, shared stories, laughed, and enjoyed tea together — it felt like one big, friendly family 🫶 A special thank you to Shirley, a wonderful elderly woman who makes this house so special. She welcomes everyone with a warm smile and takes care of her guests as if they were her own family. The bathroom is spotless and fully stocked with all the essentials. And to my surprise — breakfast is included! Delicious food, great conversations, and a cozy start to the day ☕🍳 These three days will stay in my memory for a long time. I didn’t expect much at first, but reality far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with a heart full of care and love — this is the one. I rarely write reviews, but this time it comes straight from the heart ❤️ When I return to Chicago, I’ll definitely stay with Shirley again!

Situated amongst the popular dining and entertainment of the West Loop "Greektown" neighborhood, this downtown Chicago hostel offers complimentary daily coffee and tea (24 hours) and free WiFi. The staff was incredibly helpful. It is clean, comfortable, nice kitchen area. The location is great!
