Everything is clean, cozy, and well taken care of — you can feel that this home is lovingly maintained. I came to Chicago for the Marathon, and my housemates turned out to be runners too! In the evenings we gathered around the table, shared stories, laughed, and enjoyed tea together — it felt like one big, friendly family 🫶 A special thank you to Shirley, a wonderful elderly woman who makes this house so special. She welcomes everyone with a warm smile and takes care of her guests as if they were her own family. The bathroom is spotless and fully stocked with all the essentials. And to my surprise — breakfast is included! Delicious food, great conversations, and a cozy start to the day ☕🍳 These three days will stay in my memory for a long time. I didn’t expect much at first, but reality far exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with a heart full of care and love — this is the one. I rarely write reviews, but this time it comes straight from the heart ❤️ When I return to Chicago, I’ll definitely stay with Shirley again!

I had an amazing 9-day stay at this property! The location is perfect—close to everything yet in a peaceful, safe neighborhood. The area has a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, with great people around. The property itself is exceptional—well-maintained, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Wrigley Hostel is just steps away from Wrigley Field and only a 10-minute walk to the nearest public beach. I love this hostel. The location - that’s Wrigley Field, right on the doorstep, and the rest of the area is similarly lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and two of them led us wonderfully astray on a crawl of Wrigleyville’s bars. Transport connections to the city were very close and very easy. Do-Rite Donuts around the corner for breakfast. Literally a perfect pied a terre for experiencing Chicago
