Set on Colonia’s historic district, Hostel & Hostel & Suites del Rio has bright dorm rooms with free Wi-Fi. Alamo Beach is 800 metres away and a daily Continental breakfast is offered. Very nice place. the room was good and clean, comfortable bed, good hot shower, good Wifi. The breakfast was ok, mainly sweet stuff, no proteins like eggs. There is separate kitchen for guests with everything, incl fridge. Communication with staff was smooth. Location is great. Recommended.

Viajero Colonia Hostel is now located in the historic city centre, the hostel offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Horse-riding trips can be arranged. Location was pretty nice a gateaway to old town Colonia, also the hostel has a cozy feeling to it. It was clean and comfortable
