It is very close to the Tra Su forest and there are a few restaurants and cafes available within walking distance. The host is a lovely lady and speaks English. She booked a cab for us to go to Chau Doc city, Cham villages and Nui Sam. There is plenty of space in the homestay to relax, with hammocks and wooden chair. The room and bathroom were very clean and there was Ac and hot water available.

The room was just incredibly clean and everything worked perfectly fine. I liked that the washbasin was in the room and not in the bathroom, so you can wash your hands and brush your teeth without getting wet. This hostel is as close to a western country hostel you can possibly get. Everything was good from charging outlets to lightning. The WiFi is flying. It was a bit expensive compared with the rest of Vietnam, but the facilities are top notch. The large and cozy Cafe/bar on the rooftop was superb. It was lit up with lanterns at night. It came complete with table and chairs in all sorts of heights, to satisfy anybody's preference. Also lots and lots of charging outlets there, so perfect for work. The friendly and enthusiastic English speaking staff were always around. They also had bicycle rental...and it was a GOOD one. There's a Coop supermarket across the street. There's also a large common indoor aircon room for those that need to cool off. I really do not understand what people are complaining about here, and I did not mind the no window room. Facilities are more important to me. Staff actually wanted to put me up in a window room across the street, maybe because I'm older than most, but I convinced them to give me what I had booked.
