I loved the space, it was great waking up surrounded by beautiful plants and hearing the sounds of the river and ocean! Everything was clean and well maintained. I stayed in a dorm and it was very comfortable. All the staff were very kind and made sure I felt cared for from the moment I arrived. I love how they offer daily activities. I did a couple of hikes and a surf lesson (sorry x100 for crashing the board!!) They organize pool tournaments in the bar and have lots of food and drinks options. I can't wait to visit again <3

Surrounded by nature, Tube 'n Axe Backpackers is located in Storms River Village, 14 km from Tsitsikamma National Park. We booked 2 rooms and a tent. Tent feels like you sleep under the sky, because windows are always open. Keep it in mind if you book in cold weather (but they have a heater). Tent is very modern, bed is perfect, shower is good. Everything is very clean. You can use for free swimming pool and tubes with hot wither to relax after hiking day. Hotel offers tubing experience, but we did not try. Price was about 800 R per person.
