I was born in Tirana, studied in the US, and have been working and living in Tirana for over a decade now. The apartment complex is in a quiet neighborhood next to a park of pine trees, a pedestrian promenade and the sandy beach. Since it's a gated community, families with kids can take full advantage of the public areas of the complex and play around on the streets that are full of trees, flowers, plants, and green vegetation. In the public Beach you can put up a beach umbrella we provide free of charge or you can use the sunbeds of a private establishments. In the evening you can stroll on the promenade full of lights and perhaps get an ice-cream. Within 200 m of the apartment there are coffee shops, beach bars, pizzerias and several restaurants offering Mediterranean seafood at reasonable prices. The mini-market is even closer. During the summer period you can also find farmers selling their locally grown fruits and vegetables. So just park your car and enjoy everything on foot. The only time you would need to drive is to get to the pharmacy, which is 3 km away.
