Most mayor sights are in easy walking distance. The Vienna State Opera and the pedestrian zone Kaerntner Strasse with the impressive St. Stephans Cathedral you can very easily reach in only few minutes walk ! Even Viennas biggest shopping street 'Mariahilfer Strasse' and the 'Museum district' - just short walking distance too. The Musical Theater an der Wien and the famous art gallery Vienna Secession' is located across the street, practically on the doorstep . You live right next to the famous multicultural Vienna Naschmarkt ( just across the street !! ) - a fascinating very large open market, the largest open air market in Europe! You can buy here freshest fruits and groceries from all over the world. You find there also numerous excellent restaurants (international cuisine), very relaxed coffee shops and cozy bars, nice beer gardens etc. Each Saturday with an additional very large interesting flea market. You live also only few minutes away from the central metro node Karlsplatz - very convenient - you can easely take the subway direct to the 'UNO City', the 'Schloss Schoenbrunn', the famous 'Wiener Prater', the recreation area 'Danube Island' and many more...
