My husband Nick and I live on the delightful,relaxing Sunshine Coast. We have 3 grown sons currently working and enjoying the snow and surf in various parts of the world. We LOVE the beach and ocean and all that nature has to offer for beauty and tranquility.There are many delightful and fun spots on the Sunshine Coast and surrounds to be as relaxed or active as you choose.We love all the options and possibilities. WE do enjoy relaxing with friends,movies of many genres,music,the outdoors,travel both locally and overseas and a great read. We also love meeting / connecting with people from all over :)

The neighbourhood is a friendly and outdoorsy beach environment so close to Alex Beach for swimming,surfing and relaxing,local Surf Club, local cafes,restaurants,takeaways and bars. There are lovely parks,bar-b-ques,playgrounds, duck pond,10Pin Bowling,skate park. Woolworths, Aldi and Coles supermarkets are all nearby. Plus a large gourmet IGA supermarket. You can take a nice walk to Mooloolaba Esplanade or Cotton Tree Esplanade (an easy 30 mins walk each way along scenic & well maintained pathways) for boutique shopping and additional dinning & entertainment options. Also a comfortable 10 stroll through Alex Forest around the corner for some 'down time', and Sunday afternoon drinks at the Bluff Bar at Alex Surf Club GETTING AROUND Local car hire is available and our local Clubs offer free transport. There are also local buses servicing the whole Sunshine Coast, with a bus stop just a short walk down the road. Mostly you can walk everywhere. The Maroochydore/Sunshine Coast airport is 10 minutes drive. Mooloolaba and Maroochydore centres are an easy drive 5 mins. each way. Noosa and the Hinterland are approx. 30 mins drive
