A straw bale house set in the rolling hills of Collinsvale, Situated 620 metres above sea level on a 50 acre hobby farm 🐑 🐓 In the colder months a possibility of snow ⛄️ In the studio there is a modern kitchenette with a pantry of condiments and snacks as well as a continental breakfast provided. We have poultry on the farm and eggs will be provided as a breakfast extra. An out door\indoor full kitchen which is a shared space but privacy will be respected. From here you can take in the beautiful views and surrounds of mountains and farmland of Collinsvale. Only a 5 minutes drive to Myrtle Forest water falls and if your keen on a good hike, Collins Cap and Collins Bonnet which continue from the same trail 15 min drive to Mona, 20 min to New Norfolk with a Market on every Saturday with plenty of Antique shops and 25 min to Hobart CBD.

We welcome you and thank you for choosing Amaroo with a view. My husband and I live and run a hobby farm and the Modern spacious Deluxe Studio is a private space at the back of our house. We are excited to start hosting as this is a new adventure for us. We will endeavour to do everything to make our guests feel comfortable to make your stay an enjoyable one. Lambs are being born at the moment on the property so this is always an exciting time for us. Sometimes we have orphan lambs to raise and there might be an opportunity for bottle feeding and cuddles. We love meeting our guests but respect your privacy at all times during your stay. The studio is completely private and screened off from the main house so we are close by if any questions or needs. Our property is surrounded by neighbouring small farms with beautiful mountain and valley views of Collinsvale. Parking is directly outside the house with direct access to the studio offering complete privacy.
