Footsteps to the Mid Coast Surfing Reserve is a recently-renovated coastal house boasting four bedrooms for eight guests. A quintessential waterside escape, you’ll enjoy comfort and space with a mix of modern furnishings, elegant fixtures and beach house decor. Upon entry, you’ll pass through a comfortable lounge room with plush velvet couches, a stylish timber coffee table and air conditioning; before entering the open-plan dining and living area. A solid timber table sits in the centre of the space and can seat eight; while a large living room comes furnished with a corner couch and a wall-mounted, flat-screen TV. On those warm evenings, step out of the screen door and make use of the undercover outdoor dining setting for six that sits alongside a sun-soaked grass area. A rustic-styled kitchen is fully-equipped with premium appliances, ample bench space and shaker cabinets. Make use of the large gas stove, oven, microwave, premium espresso machine and all the cooking essentials you’ll need to whip up a home cooked meal. A master bedroom has plush carpeted floors, a solid timber bed frame with a plush queen mattress and the luxury of a private ensuite; while the second bedroom also comes furnished with a queen bed, as well as stunning, light-washed timber floors and a built-in mirrored wardrobe. A third bedroom has a double bed sitting in a light-washed timber bed frame and built-in wardrobes; while a fourth and final bedroom also has timber floors and sleeps two in separate single beds. The main bathroom has a shower, a separate bathtub and spacious vanity. Additional offerings include secure parking for two cars, air conditioning and heating, a washing machine and Wi-Fi. Those travelling with babies are recommended to bring their own sheets but we are happily able to provide a highchair and baby cot, please let us know.

To enjoy lush foliage, stunning rock pools, cliff tops with panoramic views, diverse hiking trails and a range of local wildlife, head inland to Onkaparinga River National Park, just over 15 minutes’ drive away. However, wine buffs shouldn’t miss nearby McLaren Vale—South Australia’s up-and-coming wine region that is just 15 minutes’ drive away—where seemingly endless cellar doors are framed by rolling hills and lush vineyards.
