Silverwood House underwent extensive renovations during the second half of 2016, and is now being offered as a very comfortable holiday accomodation destination for up to four couples. Four generous bedrooms each with a dedicated private en-suite bathroom and excellent wardrobe space, offers each couple complete privacy. The entire house is available to rent for a minimum of two nights with two bedrooms, with three bedrooms or four bedrooms: your choice and priced accordingly. There is a wondrous games room featuring an original French "Bebe Foosball" machine from the 1940s, a small library and board games. Snuggle up in the comforatble sitting room with club lounges and slow combustion wood heater for cosy winters. The fully equiped kitchen is large open plan, with a sophisticated country feel. Coffee pods, tea, sugar, olive oil, pepper and salt provided. A large French industrial table seats eight, as does the outdoor table beside the gas BBQ in the enclosed and very private rear courtyard. The laundry is equiped with a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. Off street parking both undercover and in the open for at least four car is available.

As semi retirement became a reality Liz and Phil moved to Woodend some years ago, and are now considered locals to the area. Silverwood House is stylishly decorated with an unique mix of vintage and antique French pieces reflecting the eclectic taste of the Capocchis. Many years of inetrnational travel has given Liz and Phil an insight to the expectations of travellers, and hopefully the comforts and facilities of this house will meet those expectations.

Woodend is a regional town in Victoria, known as the gateway to the Macedon Ranges with a vast array of attractions including Hanging Rock, the Memorial Cross on Mount Macedon, the Winter Arts Festival, Trentham Falls, walking and cycling tracks galore and the town is a great base from which to visit many other historical townships. You'll discover many restaurants, wineries and cafés within a twenty kilometer radius from the town and the gastronomic delights of the district are celebrated with most chefs sourcing fresh seasonal produce and wine from local growers.
