The Bower Guesthouse is fully selfcontained accomodation. It has a private entrance, open plan lounge/kitchen/dining, two bedrooms, bathroom and large deck with views down the valley. It's situated on two and a half acres of tumbling garden. Bedroom one has a queen bed with electric blanket and high thread count cotton sheets. Bedroom two has a double bed with single bunk above, both with high thread count cotton sheets. The bathroom is brand new with large shower, huge mirror, lots of light for getting ready for a night out, and views into the small orchard. Open plan dining/kitchen/living room has beautiful exposed beams, fire place, three large couches, 60" TV, dining table, large book shelf with adult and kids’ books, kitchen with coffee machine, full sized fridge, gas stove top, oven, microwave, kettle toaster and pots & pans. Basic condiments and coffee beans provided. Enjoy three different cereals, three types of tea, instant coffee and 1L of full cream cow’s milk or soy. The deck area has table and chairs, large hammock and BBQ. There is a firepit and chairs on the grass near the deck. Feel free to wander around the large garden. The garden is a shared space. High chair, portacot and bouncer available on request. With the National Park just accross the road, hikers, mountain bikers and horse riders will be at great tracks in minutes. Olinda is just a 10min drive away, with cafes/restaurants, boutiques and the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden to wander.

Hello, I'm your host, Liz. I hope you enjoy the beautiful Dandenong Ranges as much as I do. I love going for walks up here and watching the wildlife, especially the unique lyrebird.

We have a lovely relaxed country feel up here, even though it's only an hour from Melbourne CBD. There so much to see and do, including: bush walking, mountain biking, playgrounds, Tulip festival, Chestnut festival, pubs, boutiques and the botanical garden.
