Circa 1901. Originally the town blacksmith, the old shop has had many lives. Now lovingly restored & transformed into a peaceful space to slow down, experience village life & all the Byron hinterland has to offer. This private space is complete with a wood fire, shower with a view to the heavens, loft bedroom, & fully equipped kitchen. 5 minutes to famous waterfalls & multiple waterholes, bushwalks, & incredible hinterland views. 15min from Clunes, 35min from Ballina & Byron.
My husband, Damo, and I live for travel and love meeting new people along the way. When possible, we love to bring our pup, Sonny, with us. We also love hosting people at our own little abode hidden in the Byron Bay hinterland. We live next door and may or may not be home during your stay. Happy to help out as much as required.
Across the road from the town general store. Down the road from the Dunoon sports club, which has beer on tap or around the corner from the Channon Tavern. Dunoon’s a peaceful village with a small population. You will need a car to get to the town afternoon. But once you’re here you can walk to the general store or the sports club. A car will be needed to explore the hinterland. There is very limited public transport.
