You can leave the car home as everything you need is within walking distance. If you arrive by car, there is undercover parking.
There are shuttle buses that run around Port Douglas, should you wish to venture out of the town centre. There are plenty of tours to The Great Barrier Reef and Daintree National Park if you would like to explore those magical places.
