Wildwood is a charming, fully renovated 3 bedroom weatherboard (timber) home set on 1/2 an acre, well back from the street. It is about a 6 minute very easy walk to the beach. You can hear the ocean from the decks around the house. It has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area, every room opens onto a timber deck and the main deck is north facing (sunny). It has a slow combustion fire in the lounge and a romantic open fire in the main bedroom. The house has loads of natural light. Pl note: the bathroom has a shower only - no bath. There is an additional outdoor loo (toilet) in the garden and a lovely hot and cold outdoor shower - perfect for after the beach. A gas bbq is on the main deck and the kitchen is well equipped. Wildwood is located in Pearl Beach on the NSW Central Coast, which is a National Trust-listed village, approximately 90 mins' drive north of Sydney's CBD. The village, which has a general store, a café/restaurant and another fancy restaurant, is surrounded on 3 sides by national park (Brisbane Water National Park). The beach is not a surf beach and nor is it patrolled by life savers: the nearest surf beach is around the headland (less than 5 mins' drive away). Pearl Beach also has a lovely ocean pool and there are loads of lovely walks around Pearl Beach and into the National Park.
