Places to visit: Balingup has a general store that is open from 6am to 6pm every day of the week. You can get your fuel, and plenty of snacks and foods to create meals, such as meat, a small amount of fruit, veg, dairy, bread, and pantry items. Golden Valley Tree park is only 1 km away and a great morning walk from Wood Cottage. In the main street there is a generous amount of parking coming into the town along the bridge, and more in the middle of the town.
