The Field Cottage was originally built in 1934 by the Gerber family. This cottage is open concept, very bright and clean. It boasts all cottage amenities such as a toaster, kettle, coffee pot and plenty of dishes and cutlery. You will fall in love with the sand beach and most families have been returning for over 30 summers!
We are fans of good food, great locations and amazing experiences. As one of the most popular Airbnb's in Canada our cabin in the woods, retro Airstream trailer, Front porch, Bohemian room, Victorian master bedroom along with rustic Carriage house will be the perfect spots for you to enjoy all of the above :) Added in April 2020, Onthe9 Wolfe Bay is a 200 acre oasis with 1000 ft. of sand beach, rapids and a waterfall. Onthe9 now hosts idyllic rustic weddings, corporate events and wellness retreats so consider our amazing destination for your special occasion! In June 2019 we added Ketchum House to our listings . This is an eco-education center for sustainable, ethical living. Your stay includes a tour and time with Bill, our eco-warrior We look forward to hosting you - Bill, Loreto, Ingrid, Hank, Julie and Saphron When Bill is on the property he will gladly welcome your group and check you in as well as answer your questions during your stay.
Onthe9 Wolfe Bay is only 40 minutes to North Bay where there are plenty of amazing restaurants and shopping. Powassan is a 15 minute drive from the camp and has a Valu-Mart grocery store, Home Hardware, Beer Store, LCBO and a couple great restaurants including China Garden. Foote's is a general store and is only 5 minutes down the road. You will find gas and most essentials such as alcohol :-). There are many historic sites along with local artisans to visit. The main snowmobile trail is outside our front door ensuring miles and miles of riding pleasure.
