Go skiing 12 minutes away at Edelweiss (or a little further at Mont Cascades), or 4 minutes to Nakertuk X-Country and Hiking. Go skating on one of the lake rinks or sometimes the loop around the lake made by a neighbor. It’s also your ski chalet and winter getaway! The road to the cabin is well maintained by the town and we have a large circle at the end of the road where our cabin is located just below for any additional parking for visitors. There is also parking for 8 cars in our own parking lot. Large IGA grocery store, LCBO and other stores like Dollarama, Tim Horton's on the way to the chalet, 15 minutes away, and a smaller grocery store/convenience store/grocery store 5 minutes away. Don't forget the caves of La Flèche and the aerial park 6 minutes away, the picturesque town of Wakefield for a totally relaxed atmosphere by the water, golf, Gatineau Park, cycling, hiking, Alpine and cross-country skiing a few minutes away, horse riding. . . and more.
