A modern rustic cottage with stunning, full unobstructed views of the water which is just a few feet from the house. A top floor with gas fireplace, extending out to a 24 by 16 foot screened in deck with a wood stove . . . all overlooking the hot tub, sauna, and oversized dock (20 by 20 foot on one of two platforms). A walk-out floor opening onto a ground level deck incorporating the hot tub and sauna and dock! 4 bedrooms, two Masters overlooking the water, one huge Bunkie room sleeping 8 or more . . . plus a separate elevated Bunkie with a porch at the parking level above. No gas motors lake, resulting in super clean and safe water without any weeds . . . just dive in immediately. Perfect swimming distance to a "rock area" across the lake. Full safety and fun for kids and seniors, with an easy view of everything and from anywhere on this private and tranquil property. 10 minutes to Edelweiss, 4 minutes to Nakertuk Cross Country and hiking, short distance to the beautiful town of Wakefield, minutes from La Fleche caves and zipline, skating on the lake, and more . . .
Welcome to our Haven of Tranquility! I'm a lover of all people and animals (that's why we love dogs here). I've worked for 40 years in the mental health field, and I try to live a life of authenticity and unconditional love and respect. Truly living in the moment with no regrets is my personal motto. Sharing the peace, love and tranquility that is the heart of this cottage property is my pleasure and my honour. Go skiing 12 minutes away at Edelweiss (or a little further at Mont Cascades), or 4 minutes to Nakertuk X-Country and Hiking. Go skating on one of the lake rinks or sometimes the loop around the lake made by a neighbor. It’s also your ski chalet and winter getaway! The road to the cabin is well maintained by the town and we have a large circle at the end of the road where our cabin is located just below for any additional parking for visitors. There is also parking for 8 cars in our own parking lot. Large IGA grocery store, LCBO and other stores like Dollarama, Tim Horton's on the way to the chalet, 15 minutes away, and a smaller grocery store/convenience store/grocery store 5 minutes away. Don't forget the caves of La Flèche and the aerial park 6 minutes away, the picturesque town of Wakefield for a totally relaxed atmosphere by the water, golf, Gatineau Park, cycling, hiking, Alpine and cross-country skiing a few minutes away, horse riding. . . and more.
