The hostel is located in 10-minute walk distance from the central and 12 minute from the sea where has a very amazing sunset. It is big but keeps very clean, everyone put off shoes in the front of the house. I very enjoyed one week stay this time, nicely met other solo travelers from all over the world. We chatted, laughed and took pictures together. so unforgettable. Moreover, I must say Kori is so nice!!! He picked us up at the airport and also drove us to it at the end especially prepared with a small gift to every guest which moved us a lot, like a farewell to one of my friends or relatives. I will miss all happened there. thanks a lot.

Kori is really helpful. I messaged him before arriving and he sent me info for some tours so I wouldn't have to pay a fortune for a private guide. The private room was very clean and nice with hot water and wifi that worked. A light breakfast was included. It was about 10 minutes walking to the main street and 20 minutes to the moais near the town to see the sunset. He picked me up and dropped me off from the airport. Everyone was very friendly. Decently priced too compared to other places. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

The hostel is very nice and clean, and there is a very good vibe. A lot of solo travelers and the atmosphere becomes really nice improvising dinners together and excursions. Kori and Marcela are very nice, always really helpful and always smiling.

The stay with Kori and his family was amazing. At first, the location is great, not directly at the main road but very close to it and the beach and church, I never had to walk far. The beds were super comfy and clean, the dorm room offering enough space for all four people including luggage. Big kirchen with the chance to get introduced to how to make Ceviche. Great and big common areas on 1st & 2nd floor.I've been welconed at the airport, got a short city roundtrip on the way to the hostel and everything explained which is important to know. Kori also booked the tours for us if we asked him. Moreover, he and his wife checked back on us how we're going and if we need anything every day. The breakfast was great, and I have to mention, I loved the watermelon. I had a very special time, it felt like being part of a family, not just a tourist, and I got very emotional at our goodbye at the airport.

Kori is a very kind, welcoming and attentive host. I felt very well taken care of. He was always there to help answer any questions, make tour reservations or simply to chat and give some tips about the island. All in all the atmosphere in the house is very family-like and friendly. The house is very spacious and is located 10 minutes walk away from the Hanga Roa center where you can find all the restaurants, shops and the town beach. Everything is kept clean and tidy. Included breakfast is simple but decent enough to kick-off your day. Small things you find at La Casa del Kori that every traveller will appreciate: - good wifi signal - great water pressure in the showers - plenty of storage space in the rooms, so you don't have to keep everything in your suitcase/backpack - spacious kitchen at your disposal in case you'd like to cook yourself
