Otto and Barbara were fantastic hosts, and I enjoyed my conversations with them! The place is very homely and welcoming, and the room was cosy with fantastic garden views. If you're on a working vacation, the wifi is great and there's plenty of desk space and common areas to work in such as a beautiful little courtyard and deck out back (decked out with beautiful fairy lights – plus there are lamps in every room, which is amazing if you're weird about overhead lighting like me...) When I needed a safety pin for my dress or corkscrew for my wine, Otto dug one out. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay :)

Just 5 minutes’ walk from the historic centre of Escazú, this B&B offers accommodation with free high-speed Wi-Fi and a coffee station available 24 hours a day. Tobias Bolanos International Airport is 12 km away and San José city centre is 8 km away. Some of the rooms have cable TV and safe. Please see room descriptions. The private bathroom has a shower and includes toiletries. For an extra fee, guests can enjoy a full breakfast of fresh fruit with yoghurt and granola, homemade fruit juice, eggs any style and a variety of fresh bread, marmalade and cheese on the garden-terrace. A vegan or a typical Costa Rican breakfast can be enjoyed on request. The hosts at Tierra Mágica B&B can provide information about sights and activities in and around San José. The bus station is just 300m away and the guests house can recommend a trusted shuttle service. Please note that check-ins after 21:30 are not possible for bookings of just one night.

Our goal is to make our guests feel comfortable and at home. Peaceful and relaxed ambiance. Tasteful decor. High speed internet (10 Mb/s) in all public areas and rooms. The main house is an art studio and gallery.
We enjoy meeting guests from all over the world, and we try to help our guests with anything they need to make their stay in Costa Rica a special experience.
We are located very close to the center of the old town of Escazu. Just 200m away there is a very popular restaurant and bar with good and inexpensive food and beverage. Convenience store and bus stops are close by. The neighborhood is safe and you can go out walking without concern. On Saturday mornings there is a farmer's market just a few blocks away.
