The chalet was lovingly renovated in 2022 with high-quality natural materials and exclusively furnished. Your advantage as our guest: We are a partner landlord/operator of the Reit im Winkl swimming card. This gives you the opportunity to receive other free services in addition to our own services, such as free entry to the Reit im Winkl outdoor pool, the Kössener forest swimming pool and the beach baths at Walchsee.
Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title of climatic health resort is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health." Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. Firstly, the altitude, which ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.
