It was close to everything I wanted to see. Very clean and I loved being on the top floor so I could open my windows and look out over rooftops and see city architecture old and new. Plus, I was made aware at the time of booking that I would be on the top floor so I did expect to travel up several flights of stairs. A small mini bar is also on site. Breakfast was very good.

The location of the hotel is very central and within walking distance to most of the places I wanted to see in the city. The hotel was quiet and clean. I loved my room in the attic.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Super clean (room and bathroom were squeaky clean during every day of my stay - and I am picky with cleanliness!), organized and the room I stayed at had a sink, which was very convenient. The room was well equipped, well lit and very cozy. The location is good too, close to a metro station and walking-distance to the center and coast. Would recommend to any women traveling do Hamburg.

Beautiful old building, cute courtyard, quiet but easily accessible location, and nice touches like slippers, little chocolates in the room, quiet classical music playing in the dining area at breakfast, friendly staff, basic but clean and cosy room all made for a relaxed and comfortable stay. Oh, and gluten free options at breakfast (including a homemade bread) were a welcome surprise!
