The Garden House is located on a private estate near the historic town of Detmold. Two beautifully appointed appartments, both with king size bedroom plus ensuite and open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The appartments can sleep three adults with a sofa bed and can be connected to make one larger house. The stunning interior and location simply invites you to come relax, unwind and recharge.

Gut Hornoldendorf history dates back to 1610 and currently is the largest working estate in Lippe with approximately 700 hectares of farmland and 200 hectares of woodland.

With over 200 hectares of woodland enjoy the many walks and natural attractions that can be found close by including the world famous Externsteine and Hermansdenkmal Monument in the Teutoburg Forest by Detmold. The Detmold Hochschule für Musik is one of the leading music education institutions in Europe. Its 750 students currently come from 47 countries and are often to be found among the prize winners of outstanding competitions worldwide. They not only represent classical music culture on all the world's important stages, but also work as teachers at academies, colleges and universities in almost all culturally important countries.
