Many restaurants are within a 5-minute walk of Michels Gästehaus Meerzeit. The island’s casino, Kurhaus building and Conversationshaus are within a 2-minute walk. The East Frisian Island of Norderney is part of the Wadden Sea National Park, and is easily explored on foot or by bicycle. Norderney Ferry Port is a 5-minute drive away.

The travel time from Norddeich Ferry Port to Norderney Island is approximately 50 minutes. For a fee, guests can leave their cars at Norddeich Ferry Port, which has a large car park.
