Poggelow Castle was built in 1848 in the English Tudor style according to the plans of the architect Friedrich Hitzig, a student of Schinkel, and was formerly owned by the famous von Bassewitz family. In the years from 1996 to 2004 it was extensively restored and in 2015 the entire facade was restored. Today, the castle is a listed building and provides the ideal setting for a sophisticated vacation in the countryside or for celebrations of all kinds. From the castle terrace and balcony you have a view of a small lake. Up to 20 people will find enough space in a total of 7 comfortably furnished apartments, each equipped with its own kitchen or kitchenette. Therefore, the castle is ideal for group trips or a vacation with the extended family. On the lower floor there is a large dining room, which can be used for celebrations or meetings. In the basement you can use, among others, sauna, solarium and fitness room.
