Wonderful vacation apartment with up to 6 beds, plenty of space and garden. The 4 room apartment with about 110 m2 is located on the first floor of a 4-party house in a central quiet residential area. In a few minutes walk (2-5) you can find just about everything your heart desires: shopping, dining, feasting, beauty, health and finance. The 38 bus line takes you directly into the heart of Basel and is within 2 minutes walking distance, the train station within 5. By car you can reach Basel in 10 minutes. The beautiful apartment with original period accents and modern flair, has two bedrooms, an office and relaxation area for reading and relaxing with bookshelves (the book collection is constantly expanding) and another as a living and dining room. The spacious kitchen with oven that can be used for cooking and to heat the art in the living room, creates a cozy warm atmosphere. The quarry stone walls, up to 80 cm thick, ensure pleasant temperatures and cool climate even in summer. Air conditioning is therefore not necessary. Guests are requested to strictly observe the regular legal regulations for quiet hours (night rest from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. ( for the sake of the children until 7 a.m. room volume), as well as Sundays and holidays) and not to expose the neighbors to any extraordinary nuisance, both indoors and outdoors. The access for guests is through the south-southeast side from the street, through the garden and own access to the first floor apartment. There is free parking in the immediate vicinity on the public road. In the immediate vicinity (5 minutes walk) you can find shopping (drugstore DM / Lidl / Hieber (EDEKA)) , restaurants (Drei König and Bella Italia (Italian) / China Restaurant Palast / Schlotzeria (ice cream parlor) / Ecker ( with Nicolai Wiedmer star chef) / Charlies and Sternimbiss (Turkish)), beauty and hairdresser facilities, as well as public transportation. In 5 minutes walking distance is the indoor swimming pool and the local swimming pool can be reached in 20 minutes walking or 8 minutes by bike. There is another larger one in Rheinfelden. One place further in Herten there is a nice sunbathing area directly on the Rhine (Hertener Loch). On the Swiss side of the Rhine in the village of Kaiseraugst, there are ruins from the Roman era that are open to the public free of charge. They can be reached via the Wyhlen- Kaiseraugst power plant or via a small ferry (suitable for bicycles) in the summertime. It is also only a few minutes by car. The garden belonging to the apartment may be used according to preferences, the rest of the green area is reserved for the house owners. I ask to respect this and to pay attention.
