Herstedly guesthouse is located in a small village 16 km. west of Copenhagen. It's very easy to get here by car, as we are close to the main roads and the motorway. Despite of the central location, the property is surrounded by countryside and scenic ambiances, which offers authentic country idyll. The rooms are decorated in rustic and peasant style, reminiscent of a mixture of the American prairie and old days. Guests are sharing two bathrooms and you are welcome to use the communal tea-kitchen to prepare your meals and make coffee and tea. In the summer time you can enjoy the garden and court yard. Linen and towel are included. Please note that Herstedly is 100% non-smoking - inside and outside. We recommend to get here by car as the property is located far from public transportation.

RURAL IDYLL AT THE WESTERN PART OF COPENHAGEN The property of Herstedly is an old farm, which is located at a large secluded plot in a small village west of Copenhagen. Here you will be surrounded by countryside, forest and scenic ambiances. This, despite the central location, close to the major roads around Copenhagen. ACCOMODATION The main building is newly refurbished and does now consist of 7 guest rooms, out of which there are 3 double rooms and 4 single rooms. The rooms are small, but decorated in rustic and peasant style, reminiscent of a mixture of the American prairie and old days. Please not that some rooms are at the 1st floor with a staircase. Guests are sharing two bathrooms and you are welcome to use the communal tea-kitchen to make your breakfast. Coffee and tea is complimentary. Communal areas, toilets and kitchen are cleaned daily. There is no housekeeping in your room during your stay. For long-term guests, there’s a change of sheets and cleaning of the room once a week. We regret that we do not offer extra beds / children’s beds in the rooms, thus the property is not suited for minor children. Herstedly is 100% non-smoking - inside and outside. TRANSPORTATION It’s very easy to get here by car and you can park your car for free in or private car park. However, there’s approximately 1 km walk to the nearest bus stop, from which you can take a bus to the local railway station. From Albertslund station trains depart to Copenhagen every 20 minutes.
