We came here after coming down from a 2-day ascent to Carihuairazo to unwind. It did not disappoint. The spa and restaurant were great and reasonably priced. It's a pretty fascinating property. It's old and filled with quirky, decor from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Simon Bolivar stayed there. The courtyard houses domestic rabbits who follow you around and a pair of peacocks. It's definitely an experience.

This hacienda house is HUGE, beautiful, and the owner is a collector of antiques and religious art, which makes this a stay in museum! The staff is beyond caring and welcoming and the food was all great. The rooms are huge (and so are the beds).

We can’t say enough great things about our stay. the property is amazing and well kept with so much history and options to explore. the food was delicious. I recommend the volcanic stone steak, incredible! Finally, the service was excellent from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The manager was very attentive and helped us setup a massage that was out of this world. We wish we could recall everyone’s names, all were friendly and welcoming. If we visit this area again, we will definitely stay here. highly recommend!

Breakfast was excellent...a full breakfast with choices! Dinners were amazing - both in terms of excellent choices, outstanding flavors and lovely presentations! The wait staff was awesome...totally focused on great service! Rooms were well appointed - most comfortable. Spa was AMAZING! Do not miss out on the spa! And Front Desk/Reception was awesome as well...very welcoming.
