L'Estartit, has a very wide sandy beach that slowly goes into depth. (good for children) You can park your car on the beach. (free) There is a boulevard, a harbor, many terraces, restaurants and a beautiful street with all kinds of shops. The Medes Islands are very popular for diving, but in Estartit you can also surf, kayak, snorkel, horse ride, tennis, paddle tennis, etc. There are boats for excursions during the day.
