Lovely 2 bedroom Attico apartment on the top floor with stunning views of the river Guadiana, the marina, the sea and stunning views across the river to Portugal, Villa Real do San Antonio and the fort at Castro Marim. The apartment is airy and bright, stylishly furnished and the dining and lounge area has sliding glass doors opening on to the sunny south facing terrace. The kitchen is well equipped. There are 2 bathrooms with combined glass shower doors. 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedded room with built in wardrobes. Edificio Cardenio has a communal entrance with wrought iron key access to the lobby area where you will find steps to all floors and lift access to all floors. Attico 2 is on the 4th floor with private front door. A special key, provided on arrival when inserted in to the lift panel takes you straight down to the garage area for optimal security. You will also be provided with a fob for the automatic garage door enabling car access from the road. Apartment Attico is a lovely apartment, offering the perfect accommodation for 1-4 guests. Ayamonte is a gem of a port town, bustling with life and very traditionally Spanish with cafe bars serving tapas, a variety of restaurants and quaint little shops.

Ayamonte town is situated on the Guadiana river and still remains unspoiled touristically, retaining so much of its old traditions. Quaint boutique style shops and cafe bars surround the beautifully tiled plaza squares where children play, shaded by the tall palm trees. There are plentiful restaurants and tapas bars offering the local cuisine and each one worth a visit.The apartment is situated within walking distance to the shops. You can find banks and cash points, chemists, newsagents and English papers to name a few. There is a great indoor market where you can purchase freshly caught fish, meats and vegetables and there's even a stall selling bread from the famous little village called Villablanca. There's also a super little wine bar, the Bodega, overlooking the marina where you can sample the Rioja and local wines as well as the famed belota jamon, fed on black acorns and delicious local manchego cheese. There is a cheap foot ferry, kiosk found on Calle Muelle de Portugal, which takes you across the river to Portugal, Vila Real do San Antonio. Steeped in tradition this is the pefect place to explore both Spain and Portugal and the ideal property location to be based.
