DANMARBRU is a typical residence of the Pyrenees, restored using bioconstruction techniques and equipped with all comforts. Located in the charming town of Burg, within the Alt Pirineos Natural Park, it has been recognized by Timeout as one of the most beautiful towns in Catalonia. From the cozy living room of the house, you can enjoy impressive mountain views, with access to a balcony and a private garden. The house has services such as wifi, flat television, washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, air fryer and coffee maker. The air conditioning, through aerothermal energy and underfloor heating, guarantees a comfortable environment. The spacious living room includes an imposing fireplace, and firewood is provided, as well as bed linen and towels. The location is strategic, very close to the town hall square and next to a bar-restaurant that offers authentic mountain cuisine. The house is also close to the picturesque towns of Tirvia and Llavorsi, as well as a few kilometers from Sort and the ski slopes of Port Ainé and Baqueira Beret. From DANMARBRU, guests have the opportunity to explore the Val de Aran and the Aigüestortes National Park. The area is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing and fishing.

With three children in our family, we have dedicated time and effort to rehabilitate our house using bioconstruction techniques and using local materials. Our home reflects our commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. Our connection with nature is fundamental in our daily lives. We enjoy long walks in nature and value the experiences that the outdoors gives us. Traveling as a family is one of our passions, and we take any opportunity to explore new places together. Richie, of British origin, has been living in Spain for 30 years, which has enriched our lives with the fusion of cultures. Lila, for her part, is originally from Honduras and has spent the last 25 years living in Barcelona. The residence is strategically located in the heart of Alt de Pirineos, in the picturesque town of Burg, Farrera, belonging to the province of Lleida. Just 30 minutes away are two renowned alpine ski resorts, Port Ainé and Espot, while access from Port de la Bonaigua to Baqueira Beret is approximately 40 minutes away. 20 minutes away, you can access two Nordic ski slopes, Tavascan and Virós Vallfarrera. Outside of the snow season, the area offers a wide variety of mountain activities. You can enjoy exciting rafting in the Noguera Pallaresa, go horse riding, go on mountain bike routes and explore the fascinating trails of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park or the Aigüestortes National Park.
