Here in the center of Playamar, you find really good restaurants, pubs and chiringuitos and places to go dancing. Here you also find pharmacies, hairdresser, Mercadona. 1,5 km to Torremolinos center.

Playamar is an amazing area in Torremolinos. It is airy and not crowded. If you are looking for the best beach close to Malaga - you have found it! The promenade is 7 km long and the beaches are fantastic. You can do kitesurfing, windsurfing, kite foil, volleyboll, beachtennis and parasailing for example. Along the promenade there are many romantic chiringuitos, restaurants, sportbars and places to go dancing. Within 5-20 minutes walking you will find; golfpro Miguel Jiminez golf course (he is there quite a lot too!), famous Parador golf course, padel courts where you can sign up for americanos/mixins (you do not need a partner), commuter train station La Colina, minigolf and arcade, pharmacy, Mercadona, Carrefour, hairdresser... to Torremolinos city center it is a 22 min walk, 1.5km, or just 3 minutes by the train. The views towards Malaga and the mountains are gorgeous, you can see Sierra Nevada and it takes you just about 2.5 hours to go there by car to go skiing. The mountains are right behind you if you want to go hiking or mountain biking. From Benalmadena you can take the cable car up the mountain and choose differents ways to hike round the mountain, go to Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Malaga... If you have a car it is just about a 2 hour drive to all the great places in Andalucia - Sevilla, Tarifa, Gibraltar, Cadiz, Granada, Ronda... There also is an amazing coastal path ( la Senda Litoral de Malaga) which is a path along the sea from Nerja to Manilva, 160-180km. 80% is finished 2023 and I just love walking these paths with extaordinary views and just lovely beaches-try it!
