Above all, the social dynamics at the hostel are the best. Everyone who stayed there was really friendly and the common spaces lend themselves to socializing with others. We even went out together for a few nights, and it was nice to have other people to go out and head home with. That being said, everyone was also really respectful of noise, and I felt really happy there. The staff was also approachable and their constant presence set me at ease--there was always someone at the desk, cleaning, or just around, which was nice. Overall, I felt safe and surrounded by friendly people. Everything was generally clean, whatever was broken was usually fixed fairly quickly by the staff members, and there's a lot of kitchen amenities and storage. I felt very safe, too. Also, the terrace is amazing! It looks over Gran Via and you get a really nice view and a lot of sun at the right time of day.

Super great location, the staff was very helpful but had to speak more in Spanish, the bathrooms and showers were very nice, the kitchen only had a toaster oven and toaster plate thing- you can keep food in kitchen and in the fridge. Let us stay in the community room past our check out. Felt very safe-secure. Even has a small elevator.
