I bought this place, that was an old andalusian "cortijo" in 2001. My previous experience working in construction helped me re-built myself, slowly but surely, and it became a hostel in 2007.

The hostel was built in 2007. We have 11 rooms, living-dining room w/chimney, bar, terrace and a traditional andalusian patio, very fresh for southern Spain hot summer evenings. In season You'll get to see a stork couple that made a nest next to our terrace and come to visit us every year.

This is the ideal starting point for local excursions for aficionados of nature, history and gastronomy! - Arroyo de la Plata is a Sevillian village with its typical southern Spain landscapes. The area's main activity is bull breeding, a unique opportunity to see Spanish fighting bulls in their natural environment. You can even visit local ranches for a unique experience! - We are 8 km from Castillo de las Guardas and its well-known Nature Reserve (one of the largest animal parks in Europe, with more than 100 different species) - The Riotinto mines (19th century train, traces of 5,000 years of mining activity, walk on "Mars") and the Grotto of Wonders in Aracena (1200 meters of underground gallery of impressive limestone formations) are 30 minutes by car. - For lovers of good food, Aracena is known for its jabugo ham and mushrooms. - In addition, throughout the region there are many hiking and mountain biking trails.
