AN JORGE APARTMENTS, has four flats in the heart of the Triana district in Seville, within walking distance of the old town. It is a completely refurbished building with a variety of shops, historical places and a wide gastronomic offer. The flats have spacious bedrooms and bathrooms ideal to enjoy a rest after visiting the city. It is equipped and decorated with attention to detail to ensure a comfortable stay.

The flats are located in San Jorge street, named after the old fortress that used to be there, now almost disappeared and buried by the Triana Market. But, many years ago, the Castillo de San Jorge was the epicentre of the neighbourhood. Its origin is almost unknown, although it is thought to have been built by the Visigoths to defend the population from the various attacks on the city. In the Triana market are the remains of the Castle of San Jorge, the seat of the old inquisitorial court. This castle was the seat of the Inquisition from 1481, although its initial construction dates back to the Arab period, to 1171. Affected by the continuous abandonment and successive floods of the Guadalquivir, in 1823 the market, popularly known as the Plaza de Abastos, was installed on its site. It is a living market that is renewed inside and out for the enjoyment of the people of Triana, Seville and anyone who appreciates the authentic and traditional without sacrificing quality.
