Villa Picasso is a beautiful two bedrooms house with its wonderful landscaped Manrique style garden and its own private heated fenced pool. Living room with leather sofa, dining area with table and chairs, flat screen TV. Separate kitchen fully equipped (fridge, cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cuttle and all you need to cook. Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, etc.). Washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes drier in separate utility area. Bathroom with walk-in shower, sink, bidet and toilet. Two bedrooms; one with queen bed and french windows opening on to the terrace. The other has two single beds. Both have fitted wardrobes. Huge sunny terrace as well as covered chill out area al fresco dining. Thai style outside bed in the garden. Private heated swimming pool (size approximately 8m x 4m, depth 1.10m to 1.70m) surrounded by sun deck with sunloungers and parasols. Pool and garden are surrounded by high walls offering privacy and both pool area and garden are fenced off stopping little feet from wandering into these areas alone. Also to make you really feel you are on holiday, there is a poolside bar. Flat screen TV. WIFI No smoking inside.

Neighbourhood information

The resort of Playa Blanca is in the south of Lanzarote, only 33 kilometres from Arrecife Airport. It was once a small fishing village and has now turned into a bustling port; it is the most recently developed tourist resort. The beaches in Playa Blanca make up a nine kilometre stretch along the coast – there are three beaches, all safe and sandy. They are sheltered and ideal for sunbathing and swimming. The Playa Blanca market is held at the new Marina Rubicon on a Wednesday and Saturday mornings, with a good selection of clothes, jewellery and gifts. The market in Teguise on a Sunday is well worth a visit. It features stores selling a wide variety of items – all of the cobbled streets are filled with traders. Playa Blanca is home to the ferry between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. There are two lines, leaving throughout the day.
