Sompiontie 1 property is located very near to the Rovaniemi train station (950m) in a quiet, very peaceful and safe neighborhood, which is still only about 30 minutes walk from the city center. The nearest bus stop to city center is only 200m from the apartment and the bus number 4 goes every 30 minutes (check the schedule and the availibility for special holidays separately from the Rovaniemi linkkari -service). The nearest children playground is only 100m from the apartment. If you come by car there are plenty of free parking on the street next to the apartment. The distance to the Rovaniemi airport is approx. 10km and driving there by car takes around 12-15 minutes. The same distance applies to the Actic Circle and Santa Claus Village.

JOY apartment is run by my wife Judy, daughter Oona and myself Ismo. We work fulltime in our normal jobs and Oona is still in the elementary school and JOY apartments is our family project for the Winter time to welcome people to see our beautiful home town Rovaniemi and experience the Lapland Winter, meet the Santa Claus and see the beautiful auroras. Very peaceful and safe neighborhood with many single family houses. The nearest children playground is located 100m from the apartment. One nice opportunity is to take a 30 minutes walk to the city center in the beautiful Lapland Winter scenery.
