A true ski-in/out, spacious and well-equipped 3-bedroom apartment at the foot of the slopes of Ylläs is a perfect place for an active vacation. In winter, just put your skis on in the warm garage and slide to the ski lifts. The nearest slope/lift is open about in the middle of February to the end of April and the gondola and main slopes are just in a walking distance just like cross-country skiing tracks. After an active day outdoors, you can enjoy the warmth of sauna or just relax in front of the fireplace. The youngest can spend their time with legos, puzzles and board games. The excellently equipped kitchen contains everything you need to prepare food. The tableware is for even 12 people. There is another fridge-freezer in the garage in addition to the fridge-freezer in the kitchen. In the balcony there is also has a spacious Weber gas grill. You can also wash your clothes in the washing machine and dry them quickly in the drying cabinet. There is a cross-country ski lubrication stand and a lubrication point in the garage. In addition, there are snowshoes for two and sleds for children. Bedding and towels are included, and the beds are made ready for you. The cleaning is also included.

We, Hanna and Lauri, are parents of 3 children and we live in Helsinki. We love Lapland, the amazing landscapes and the variety of seasons; polar night and the northern lights, midnight sun and nightless night, autumn fall color brilliance and in general the silence of the wilderness and versatile outdoor routes. Hiking, skiing, cycling or just walking as a family to a hut or a fireplace to prepare lunch is the best thing a family can do together.

Ylläs is the biggest ski resort in Finland. Ylläs is number one, as the slogan says. Ylläs offers a wide range of activities, fresh air and beautiful nature throughout the year. You can rent equipment for activities you like. All the slopes and lifts will be open from week 8, at the latest. Almost half ot the 62 slopes in Ylläs are over one kilometer long. Ylläs offers also an extensive network of winter biking and cross country skiing trails – actually more than 300km first class and well maintained cross country tracks. There are also 410 kilometers of snowmobile trails. In summer, Ylläs has a bike park, which is open from Midsummer until the beginning of October. Ylläs is an excellent destination for hiking enthusiasts or trail runners. The numerous huts along the trails with fireplaces makes it possible to prepare and enjoy memorable lunches outdoors. 20 km away is located e.g. a huge SnowVillage snow castle and restaurant.
